Overview

Jackson Solar Farm is a 150 MW Solar and 100MW/200MWh Battery Storage project located in Jackson, Queensland. The site was selected due to its good solar potential with the Project location having a high solar pv capacity factor rating of 22.2%. The site also has a 150m wide corridor of native tree screening from the Warrego HWY minimising any potential visual impact.

Grid connection:

•Proposed via T connection into the Ergon 132kV double circuit Columboola to Roma line that runs through the property.

•This project also sits within the Southern QLD REZ – Q8 Darling Downs

•Q8 REZ has 5700MW capacity minimizing potential constraints
