Overview

The Hargraves Wind Farm will involve constructing, operating, and decommissioning up to 44 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) and associated ancillary infrastructure, with a total capacity of around 300 MW.  The Project Site is located approximately 30 km southwest of Mudgee and west of Hargraves Village.

The Hargraves Solar Farm is located within the Central West Orana Region, is an attractive proposition for the development of a solar farm project due to the good-quality solar resource in the area, the complementary diurnal wind profile, and it is in close to the Central West Orana REZ.  With both a high capacity factor and high solar irradiation, the site presents an opportunity to deploy solar panels with large annual energy yields. The proposed Project capacity is 300 - 400MW.
